The builder collective in the room:
From weekend hackers to senior ML platform engineers, we are an open community helping each other build, debug, and ship production AI applications.
Our Working Lounge: Discord & GitHub
Between hack nights, our Discord is where developers share terminal logs, debug tricky CUDA errors, dissect new preprints, and team up for weekend builds.
show-your-work
Show off what you built over the weekend. Get peer feedback, GitHub stars, and collaborators.
gpu-poor
Tricks, memory optimizations, and quantization to run big models on consumer GPUs and laptops.
agent-experiments
Building autonomous agents without letting them loop infinitely or run away with your bank account.
papers-and-coffee
Dissecting new arxiv preprints every Tuesday morning with coffee. No hype, just math and code.
hackathon-teams
Find teammates for upcoming in-person hack nights and collaborative open-source weekend builds.
help-and-debugging
Got stuck on an inference bug, CUDA OOM error, or broken dependency? Friendly helpers in the room.
What Builders Say About Us
Candid feedback from engineers and hackers who attend our sessions and build in the room.
“Every other meetup is a 45-minute slide deck pitched by a vendor trying to sell cloud credits. Anlytic Community is the only room where you clone a repo in the first 5 minutes and actually write CUDA or PyTorch before pizza arrives.”
“The war stories session on infinite tool recursion saved our startup tens of thousands of dollars. Hearing an engineer show their real terminal logs and failure modes was worth 100 webinars.”
“No fluff, no corporate buzzwords, no 'unleash your potential.' Just real code, brutal latency benchmarks, and friendly developers who actually answer your questions.”
“I fine-tuned my first 8B parameter model locally on my laptop during the workshop. The step-by-step guidance on memory limits and Unsloth optimizations was incredible.”
“Finding this community was a game changer. Everyone is actually running models instead of just posting LinkedIn hype. Best developer community in town.”
“You can tell this was founded by engineers who build real systems. The focus is always on failure boundaries, cost control, and reproducible architecture.”
“We don't talk about high-level AI philosophy. We talk about token throughput, p99 latency, quantization noise, and why temperature 0.2 behaves differently across models.”
“Being in the room with 90+ engineers all solving the same agent state-machine edge cases was electric. The collective knowledge density is unmatched.”
“The starter templates alone are production-grade. Clean Dockerfiles, pinned dependencies, and strict schema validation that you can actually deploy.”
“This is what developer communities used to feel like in the early days of open source: generous, technical, high-signal, and lots of fun.”
Built by Our Members
Cool tools, local pipelines, and open-source frameworks started during hack nights and collaborative builds.
FastEmbed-rs
Blazing fast local embedding server in Rust with ONNX runtime and zero Python dependencies.
AgentGuard
Deterministic rate-limiting and recursion depth guardrails for Gemini and OpenAI agent loops.
LocalVision-Stream
Real-time webcam object and gesture query runner using quantized Qwen2-VL on Apple Silicon.
PromptDiff
Semantic regression visualizer measuring drift in LLM responses across model temperature and version updates.
How We Hack Together
🤝 Zero Gatekeeping
Whether you wrote your first python script yesterday or train foundation models for a living, everyone is welcome.
💻 Code Over Slides
We believe the best way to understand anything in AI is to open a terminal, run it, and inspect the weights.
🍕 Generous & Collaborative
Share what you learn, help someone debug their GPU environment, and celebrate each other's hacks.
Everything You Need to Know
Answers to the most frequent questions from new developers joining our hack nights and working channels.
Who can attend the hack nights?
Anyone with an interest in building! Our community includes students, self-taught builders, startup founders, and senior ML platform engineers. We maintain a zero-gatekeeping culture.
Do I need an expensive GPU laptop?
No! While an Apple Silicon Mac or NVIDIA RTX laptop is great, we provide sponsored cloud GPU notebook instances for any attendee who needs extra compute.
Are the events and workshops free?
Yes, 100% free! We are a non-commercial community initiative. Food, drinks, and workshop materials are provided free of charge.
Can I demo my weekend project?
Absolutely. Every hack night includes an open 5-minute lightning demo session. You can also share demos anytime in our #show-your-work Discord channel.
Where can I find the starter code repos?
All notebooks, Dockerfiles, and code repos from our sessions are published under open-source licenses on our GitHub organization at github.com/anlytic-community.
